In September 1976
Zardoya OTIS subsidiary of United Technologies in Spain acquired the exclusive
license of the ZEC vertical evacuation for the Spanish territories.
Since 1977 Zardoya Otis
(Madrid, Spain) Subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (Standord, USA) has
legally exploited the ZEC technology under exclusive license agreement and
under the MEVO™ trade mark acronym for Manga de Evacuation Vertical
Otis.

Departamiento Mevo Pza. Del Liceo, 3 Madrid, Spain. Director of the department since 20 years: Sr. Antonio Comellas.
Actually United Technologies
Corp. and Otis Elevator answer to the press persons in the
USA that they are not, or never been involved with the ZEC Vertical Escape
chute technology.
UTC- Otis eventual denial in the USA of been the legal marketers of the only
worldwide proven high-rise escape technology during a quarter of century,
oblige C to publish the herein documents:
The fact that Zardoya Otis (Madrid,Spains) Subsidiary of
United Technologies Corp. (Standord, USA) has legally exploited the ZEC

Epilogue
After the unfair decision of the board of United Technologies Corp. in 1977
to censure Mr. Hubert Faure ( President of Otis Elevator Corp world's
operations in1977) project to start a US National Public Relation Campaign of
public interest including demonstration of the ZEC in the USA. UTC's Board started to enforce a systematic information's disavowal in the USA
regarding the evidence that the ZEC was marketed by UTC's European
subsidiaries. ( note #1)
