People that were trapped above the floor levels impacted  could have been evacuated by only one set of four or five units of ZEC-EM, remaining operative over 25, in few minutes.
The Zephinie   Escape Chute (ZEC) 
can operate over 100 floors.  
Can evacuate up 1000 persons per minute, including handicapped ,  injured persons with the same average escape speed.

The ZEC is certified for the evacuation of merchant ships by the French Government's
Ministry of the Sea "MINISTERE DE LA MER"  by the ordinance P.V. No.52/1 (02/18/1982)
Oil Tankers and Gas Tankers sailing under the  French flag are equipped with ZECs.

 


 


Special adaptations to the design of the ZEC installations, dependent on the  architecture of the platform are available.

Note: Zephinie has formally authorized  Ascenter Otis SA, Subsidiary of UTC Corp.  to sub-License Sicli to market the marine application.
